    Core Structure and Components

    Typically made of carbon steel, stainless steel, or corrosion-resistant PP plastic to ensure structural strength and sealing. Usually a rectangular prism shape with flanges for easy connection to ductwork (inlet and outlet).

    💨 Air Flow Distribution & Support Structure
    Front Flow Distribution Screen/Plate: Ensures air flows evenly through the carbon bed, preventing "channeling" (air taking the path of least resistance) and maximizing the use of all carbon.
    Support Screen/Plate: Located at the bottom of the box or between carbon layers — prevents fine activated carbon particles from being carried out by the air stream and supports the weight of the carbon bed.
