    Product Introduction

    Filter Media Materials:

    Separator-Free (Mini-pleat) Technology: A more advanced technology that uses special pleating and curing processes to allow the filter paper itself to maintain its shape, eliminating the need for traditional separators. This further increases the filtration area and reduces resistance.

    Frame Function: Provides structural strength to the filter and facilitates installation and sealing.Materials:Laminated Plywood: The most common type; low cost and good strength. Surfaces usually have an anti-corrosion coating.Aluminum Profile: Lighter, more durable, and offers better fire resistance. Often used in high-standard clean rooms or special environments.

    Stainless Steel: Used in bio safety laboratories, pharmaceutical plants, and other applications requiring frequent disinfection and high corrosion resistance.

    Plastic (e.g., ABS): Used for some light-duty or special-purpose filters.

    Sealant (Gasket Sealant)

    Function: Securely seals the filter media pack within the frame to prevent the leakage of unfiltered air (bypass). This is crucial for ensuring filter efficiency.

    Materials: Polyurethane Sealant: The most commonly used type; offers good elasticity and adhesion strength.Silicone Sealant: Features a wider temperature resistance range and better aging resistance.Hot-Melt Sealant: Fast curing and environmentally friendly.

    Gasket (Sealing Gasket

    Function: Installed between the filter frame and the installation rack to ensure the air tightness of the entire system.

    Materials: Polyurethane Foam: The most common type; offers good compression set and resilience.

    Neoprene Rubber: More durable and offers better aging resistance.

    The efficiency of HEPA Filter

    The efficiency of currently available high-efficiency filters ranges from 99.9% to 99.999999%, and they can be selected based on specific requirements. The rational selection of filter efficiency and face velocity contributes to comprehensive economic benefits.

    For filters made of the same material, higher efficiency typically results in greater resistance and higher cost, while lower efficiency leads to reduced resistance and cost. Altering the air velocity will also affect resistance, efficiency, and the number of filters required, so appropriate selection should be made according to specific conditions.

    Service Life of Filters

    As dust accumulates on the filter media, the resistance increases. When the resistance reaches an unreasonable level, the filter must be discarded. Sometimes, excessive resistance can cause previously captured dust to become dislodged and re-enter the airflow; when this risk arises, the filter should also be replaced. The resistance of a filter increases with higher airflow rates. By increasing the surface area of the filter media, the relative velocity of air passing through the filter can be reduced, thereby decreasing the resistance.
